Where I Would Rather Be

Okay I’m finding it pretty hard to contain my excitement. We remember in my Believe post I mentioned that some exciting things are happening. We one is (and you may already know if you follow me on Facebook or Twitter) in one more day I will be flying to NYC to celebrate my birthday once again! Yupp once again it is my favourite time of year – my birthday season/fashion week! This year I will be traveling with some new friends/co-workers as it is also slightly a business trip doing some re-con for the Fashion Festival! – I love my jobs 🙂

Unfortunately this year I won’t be attending the IFB CON like I did last year, which is a shame since Coco Rocha, Iman and a few of my fave bloggers are on the panel this year! Ugh! I would have loved to meet Coco, she is one of my favourite models, she has just redefined everything! – I’ve had a bit of Coco-fever lately in some of my posts if you haven’t noticed, I like it, I think it livens up the blog a little.

See I told you I’m excited I’m rambling on. On to the outfit. This was my outfit to work today, I’ve been rather lazy lately as the heat and humidity has become unbearable so putting clothes on has become such a task let alone taking the time to dress up. But today I decided to suck it up and pretend as if I was in New York already. This is my IFBCON Day 1 (with a work twist) outfit. So basically what I would have worn had I been in NYC for the conference. What do you think? I think this is the first time I have ever worn a pleated/knee length skirt. Ah how I love experimenting with outfits 🙂
