Another Christmas party outfit, this time from my parents Christmas party. Instead of them going together they decided to bring my sister and I as their dates and we made it a family affair. This time I had a lot more time to prepare myself, so there was no tearing apart my room. Lol. This party was a little more formal than my job’s Christmas party so I decided on a simple but classic look. I’ve had this dress for about a year and a half but had never worn it. It still had the tag on it! I had originally got it as an option to wear to my university graduation and it was actually also an option when I went to this same Christmas party last year, but both times decided on something different.
I didn’t realise until I put the whole look together that this was bit of a Marilyn Monroe look, tight dress, red lips and pumps to match. I didn’t mind resembling the ultimate sex symbol, she is after all, an icon. So what do you think, how did I do on The Marilyn?
