Ah, the signs of fall; the leaves turning amber, the breeze getting slightly cooler each day and the fall items slowly coming to the front of the closet. We didn’t get any of these warnings, one day it was warm, the next I found myself pulling out all of my sweaters! This past weekend was just a taste and since has gotten even colder. If the winter is going to be anything like these past few days, I need to immediately stock up on my winter clothes. I consider myself an island girl through and through, which in translation means, I love summer and my closet is not built for the cold at all. My winter wardrobe generally consists of layering my summer items, with a possible sweater and lots of jackets and tights (even under my jeans sometimes).
All in all, I may have been able to get by fall with outfits like these, but for winter – well we will see how I make out.
