Cancun Day 2: Playas Tortugas

Day 2 of my Mexican Cancun adventures we decided to book all of our tours for the rest of the week and then we decided to once again hop on the bus and see where it would take us. This time we traveling until we saw another area that looked like it had a lot going on. We ended up at Playas Tortugas, a little port that had a good amount going on. It seemed to be the area where families came to play on the beach away from all the tourists and college kids. There was a cute little bar, a bungee jump (that literally everyone tried to get us to do!), a bit of shopping and also a place where you can book water sports and adventures. Shalisa and Shaylee had never been parasailing before, so we decided to go parasailing. I have been before in Bermuda but never in another country and OMG it was amazing! We didn’t get to see any turtles or fish but the blue water went on for days it was so beautiful! Seeing Cancun from the waterside and from that high up was a-whole-nother perspective. We had a blast just relaxing taking in the view and singing ‘I Believe I can Fly’ at the top of our lungs. There are so many amazing and gorgeous photos from this trip I’m having a hard time narrowing them down so bare with me 🙂
