As the days continue to get cooler and the reality sets in that it is now fall with winter not far behind, I thought this would be a good chance to officially say goodbye to summer by posting these unpublished photos from my favourite part of summer, Cupmatch. Another summer has gone by and once again the Cupmatch holiday was one of my favourite parts. You just can’t beat when the whole island comes together to celebrate and engage in fun and friendly competition. Sad to say that St.George’s didn’t take the cup back this year, but everything else seemed to make up for it (don’t worry we will be back next year!).
One thing that always remains a fact, if you are ever interested when you decide to travel to Bermuda and you are looking to have fun, experience the culture, mingle with the locals, watch the sports, get in the water, what ever your reason is – Cup Match time is the best time to visit. The whole island comes alive, it’s incredible! Seriously, ask any Bermudian or tourist that has come for the holiday, there is no better time. I keep wanting to do a video but I have way to much fun living in the moment to record everything. So I guess that means you will just have to come and experience it yourself, and until next year – enjoy my photos 🙂
