First stop on our trip to Puerto Rico was Casa Bacardi. Whenever I asked someone where to go or what to do in Puerto Rico the two responses I always recieved were to visit the rum factory and Old San Juan. With Bermuda being the main headquarters for Bacardi [& being a true Bermudian] I couldn’t pass up visiting the largest rum distillery in the world. It was really awesome and interesting visiting Casa Bacardi and learning about the process and history of the Bacardi rum and brand. We took a brief tour of the distillery, sampled some rum and then at the end I couldn’t resist enjoying an authentic Bacardi Mojito.

After the factory the rest of the day was spent at the mall and exploring the area around our hotel – the mall was awesome, our area not so much [there wasn’t much in walking distance of us].
