Can you believe it’s already the end of the year, it seems like 2014 just started! As per blogger tradition here is my post looking back on 2014. Usually I would do a recap of photos from my favourite moments this year, but this time I decided to combine it with an outfit post, as this title perfectly explains both the outfit and my year.

This outfit is from when I went with my parents to their Christmas party. The theme, 007: Shaken not Stirred. I found this dress when I was in Puerto Rico at BCBGeneration and fell in love with the lace detail. Originally I had purchased it for a different event but once I found out the theme I had pull it out for this one. Paired with gold accessories and these black and gold BCBGMaxAzria pumps I found at Perry Collections and I’m ready to step in a ballroom with my Mr. Bond.

As for my year, that was also shaken not stirred. For me 2014 consisted of a lot of spur of the moment decisions and lots of learning. I seemed to just jump into things this year, for example, my random trip to Mexico, dying my hair pink, buying a car, oh and deciding to spend my birthday in Puerto Rico in less than two weeks time. There was also a lot of learning. I know it seems very cliche but I really did learn a lot about myself this year and what I really want out of life. For the past two years I have just been going with the flow and taking things as they come. This year I faced a lot of challenges, both personally and professionally and I’ve grown from them. I still have a lot of learning and growing to do, but now I think I’m really ready for the life I want. Bring it on, 2015! I’m ready for another… shaken not stirred.
Couldn’t resist ending with a Bond pun, Happy New Year’s Eve Loves! Have a safe and fun night!
Loves,
