So after writing this very personal and inspiring post back in December I was excited and ready to jump back into my blog, there was only one problem – I had no idea where to start. How do you jump into story-telling the last two years of your life when you have just as many amazing things happening right now!? I’ve spent the last two months trying to figure this out and the perfectionist within me refused to let me start until I had a plan and vision on how I was going to do this. So over the last two days I finally decided screw the perfectionist in me, screw how things are ‘usually done’ and screw what others may think about me posting about the past. I’ve spent so much time thinking about what others would think and it’s exhausting. So instead I’m going to start where I feel that my story starts again, November 2016. The end of 2016 I did a lot of traveling to rediscover myself. I was away for what seemed like every other week, each one of them unexpected trips, but I do not regret any of them. I took each one of them for a reason and in my own way it helped. I don’t what ‘order’ I’m going to tell my story but I figured my trip to the Simply Stylist Conference in New York was a good start as my reason for this trip was to help re-inspire myself to blog again.

This outfit is what I wore to fly out, I decided to keep it simple and cozy, my go to look for flying these days. I get restless on a plane so the more comfortable and simple the better. Almost all of these pieces are old but I just decided to finally pull them out for a spin. I have always been a fan of DylanLex jewelry ever since it became a thing a few years ago but it was always out of my price range. When BaubleBar did this collaboration with Wendy’s Lookbook and I saw this necklace I knew I had to have it. A staple piece that can turn a simple outfit to something a little more interesting without going overboard.
