While filing my posts I noticed something. Apparently I never posted this absolutely amazing retro feminist collection event that I attended while in New York back in February, which would more widely be known as the Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony F/W13 presentation. With the fall season of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week coming to a close in New York, fashion month just beginning, and fall creeping up slowly, I thought it was still appropriate to post this [plus I love it]. So I present to you, Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony:
I also want to point out something amazing from an event perspective: retro feminist themed, all female bands, controversial signs, and fashions representing a sexually free era, all set in the small square footage of a church. Mere genius. I love every details of this collection from the piers to the ‘Time to have Sex’ sign. I applaud all those involved with putting this event on. Something I feel the “self-identified feminist” Man Repeller, Leandra Medine would also appreciate.
