Bermuda Collective Outfit

This last pic looks like I’ve seen a ghost or something. Lol. This was my outfit that I wore to the Bermuda Collective Fashion Show two weekends ago. It’s starting to get cooler here in Bermuda so I thought this was the perfect time to preview my new boots from the Gap. I believe this is the first thing I have ever bought from there, I got them when I was in New York. I used to think the Gap was kind of like an Old Navy…well I was wrong, I now have one more store to add to my shopping trips! This Gucci purse is my first designer bag I believe. But that’s not the reason why it means so much to me. Just over 2 years ago my Granny passed away, right before I went away to school, but it wasn’t until this summer that I was able to go through her things and choose items of hers for my closet. My mother always wondered where I got my passion for fashion, clothes, shoes & purses from, once we saw my Granny’s closet we got our answer. Even in her last days in the hospital my Granny made sure she was primmed & pressed. The items I choose from her closet included mostly costume jewellery and purses. This Gucci purse & chain (also here) are ones. You’ve also seen some items already, this necklace also seen here, and this purse. These items will mean more to me than just their label because of her. I miss her so much, I wish she could see me now, I know she would be proud. ♥
