Brunch at Grotto Bay

Bermuda has some amazing brunch locations throughout the island. I know in the U.S. brunch is usually any time of the week or weekend, but in Bermuda it is reserved for Sundays only, where you can spend the afternoon sipping on mimosas and eating to your hearts content. One place that I happened to have many breakfasts and brunches last year was the Grotto Bay Beach Resort. It is Bermuda’s only all-inclusive hotel and is very popular for it’s brunch menu. I spent an entire week at this hotel last April when I stayed there during my event last year where I was the lead coordinator, the Bermuda International Town Crier Competition. We had Town Criers fly in from the U.K. and Canada and Grotto Bay was our host hotel. To say I was spoiled for breakfast every morning was an understatement! Seriously, it was probably the only reason I was able wake up so early and get through the busy days.

Since that event I had not been back to the hotel until this day when I went for brunch with my parents and their friends that were visiting the island. It was nice because it reminded me of my time there during the event and of course I had to take advantage of the waffles! If you are in Bermuda and are interested in experiencing brunch any time of the year I would definitely recommend that you try Grotto Bay, then check out their new Spa in a cave!
