(Bebe dress; Aldo tights; Jessica Simpson pumps)
This was my outfit that I previewed here to show you my makeup. I love this dress from Bebe! I got this one the same time I got my new years dress on my December trip to NYC. This one was so elegant I wanted to save it for a nicer occasion, and what’s better than for Tasha’s Birthday dinner at the fabulous Mandarin Oriental hotel and a cocktail party at the Hudson Terrace. We had the best time at dinner! This was my second time being at the Mandarin Oriental, I had stayed there once before when I came to NY for the second time for one of my friends 16th birthday, and the hotel was just as amazing and beautiful as I remember. I wasn’t a guest this time but we never dined in the hotel before, and I’m not sure why because the service was great, the drinks were pretty and the food was delicious! We enjoyed our dinner so much that we completely missed the cocktail party. But I wouldn’t change it if I could go back, this was one of my favourite parts of the trip. We still were able to have a drink at the Hudson Terrace and enjoy the view before changing location.
I’m just going to rant about my dress for a second, don’t you love it! The details are so beautiful. Elegant black lace with gems placed beautifully at the neckline as to mimic a necklace. The dress is so gorgeous I wanted to keep everything else simple. I choose my sky high Jessica Simpson pumps (closer look here) and of course some opaque tights because it was so cold in New York! I avoided any other jewellery because I didn’t want to take away from the neckline. I think this has to be my favourite Bebe dress that I own, and if you know me – that’s quite a few.
You look so pretty, thats a great dress.
