Sitting in the middle of the crowd it is clear why it is called the Independent Fashion Bloggers Conference. There is a sea full of beautiful, fashionably dressed people from all parts come together to meet new people with similar interests, learn from those who have become professionals in this industry and perfect their skills as a blogger. Walking the streets of New York everybody is straight faced and generally dressed in all black. However here in the Altman building it is full of smiles, introductions and a mix of colours and flash photography . Here the fashion bloggers unite and support each other, even though in reality they are really competing with one another.

Founder of IFB Jennine Jacob          So what did you think of my cheesy intro. No but honestly I had a great time at the IFB Conference! I got to meet Tyson Beckford and made some amazing new friends and contacts. I tried my hand at my first DIY project and loved it! Also learned some great things for my blog (that I am slowly implementing into my everyday routine). If you are a blogger I would highly recommend attending at least one event – it is definitely worth it!
