I don’t have many sentimental items my closet but there are a few things that I do hold close to my heart. One of them is this vintage Dooney & Burke purse. I have no idea how old it is or from what season it is from but my guess is at least a few decades and definitely before my time. The reason I say that is because this purse is something that was left to me by my Granny after she passed. My Granny was one of those fabulous ladies that even in the end kept herself together. Getting a chance to pick items from her wardrobe, I was excited because she always had the best items. Out of everything I chose some simplistic jewellery pieces and statement accessories and handbags. This Dooney & Burke purse and my Gucci purse I blogged about here are two of the items I got. I guess they are extra special not only because they are my first designer pieces but mostly because they came from her from her.
