Soo, what do you think? Do you like the new layout? I’m still working out all the kinks and figuring out how things work, as this was my first time completely revamping the layout of my blog. I’ve been wanting to do something like this for a long time now, but with no knowledge of HTML and CSS I always thought it was completely impossible without hiring someone, and to take the time to do research and figure out what I wanted, I just didn’t have any. Until last Saturday night, I randomly decided that I was just going to stay home, work on it and figure it out for myself. I had plans and all, but blew them off to feed my creative desires.
I would still consider this a soft launch as everything is not exactly to my liking yet, but I believe this is the perfect transition. With life full force in my Miss Bermuda Pageant and the Bermuda Fashion Festival around the corner, I wanted to get back to blogging as my quiet creative outlet amongst my crazy busy schedule.
As I mentioned previously before bowing out for a break, I’ve still been collecting and curating content which you may have seen on my Facebook and Instagram. Secretly collecting and waiting until the day I decided to return back to my blog. (Sounds like the dramatic start to a movie! lol) This outfit was the start of my Miss Bermuda journey and what I wore to our first meeting. Something casual yet cute. This top I’ve had for probably almost a year now but wanted to wait to find the right casual outfit to make the colours pop. I love the combo because it is like street style meets girly florals, almost the definition of my own personal style. And because the weather was still cool (this was back in March), I paired them with my favourite Gap booties that had been hiding in the back of my closet all winter. A nice casual ensemble for the first meet and greet with the other contestants and Miss Bermuda team.
