New Heights

(Divided by H&M sweater & dress [worn as skirt]; Aldo tights; Two Lips boots)

This was my outfit on day two of our NYC trip, we spent majority of the day in bed catching up on sleep from the night before but in the afternoon we went to Saks Fifth Avenue to get our makeup done at MAC. Hence why my makeup is a little way more extravagant than normal. I love getting my makeup done and dressing up, especially in New York City. The people at MAC were so nice, one of them said I reminded them of Paula Patton! First time I’ve ever been told I look like a celebrity, I was flattered she’s beautiful, I loved her in Jumping the Broom & she is always smiling, like me :). This was just a simple outfit I threw together, something a little different but I love it. And of course it was an excuse to wear my new boots that I got before I left Bermuda. I wasn’t wearing them for too long but they are comfortable enough to walk 6 blocks in New York City, I think that’s a pass!

The post title once again comes from the location. These photos were taken on the terrace of our hotel room. It was so nice & big I couldn’t resist. We only had a peek-a-boo view of the city but still beautiful nevertheless. Shame we didn’t get a chance to enjoy it because it was raining majority of our trip, and it was freezing cold! No worries, just an excuse to come back in the summer 😀 lol.
