Wockz at Shark Reef

With the popular rise of Shark Week and being the island girl I am, naturally I’m fascinated [sometimes a bit too much] by marine wildlife and the gentle beasts that roam it’s ocean. So when I heard of Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay it was one of my must visits while in Vegas. Like anyone else I get excited when Shark Week comes around and though I love learning about the feirceness of the ocean, I don’t think I will ever want to get in the water with a shark, so seeing them behind the glass is the next best this and the closest I will ever get. Seeing so many different species in one place, I felt like a little kid on a school trip. I loved every minute of it. It was the perfect way to end my Vegas trip – literally – this was the last thing I did before heading to the airport for the redeye flight.
