Okay so originally I had two other posts planned before this one but I’m still so excited that I couldn’t wait to post it. On Saturday evening I attended the CableVision Awards and Gala; a night where one of our local television companies honour those that have given back to our community in a profound way. This year’s theme was all about the Leading Ladies and what they have done for Bermuda. I was invited to attend by my boss and friend (and sometimes my blog photographer) Danilee, as she was a presenter this year. So of course I went to support my friend, but something even more magical was about to happen. I’ve only known Dani for a short two years, we met when she hired me as an intern for the company I now work for, and because of her my life has opened up to so many opportunities. She has been an amazing role model and has also become a close friend and somewhat of a big sister to me. So as I post about my evening I can’t help but include HER big moment! In front of the whole event as well as their family and friends, Dani was surprised with a proposal from her boyfriend! I’m still in complete shock and can’t believe it happened but couldn’t be any happier for the two of them! It was such a beautiful engagement, I got all teary eyed! Being the event coordinators we are and the close team we have our brains have already started ticking on the wedding and events leading up to it. But I would like to dedicate this post to her/them and extend a heart warming CONGRATULATIONS! Dani you will make a beautiful bride, thank you for all you have done for me, including continuing to push & help me with my blog. I can’t wait to help you with your special day.
