During the Miss Bermuda Pageant we had a few public appearances where we had the opportunity to get to know the public and to allow the public to get to know us. The first public appearance event was assisting selling art at the Bermuda Society of Arts, one of the more popular art galleries on the island. The BSoA is known for the many rotating art shows featuring local artists of all mediums. That day I was assigned to photography art by Bermuda Aerial Media and there were so amazing photos of Bermuda from never before seen angles. Needless to say I wanted to add them all to my collection.
Since the gallery happens to be located in the same building as my offices and the opening was immediately after work hours I needed an outfit that was both appropriate for work and chic enough for the appearance. I decided on something bold yet comfortable and went with this blouse and skirt from H&M. This blouse I’ve had for a while, as well as the skirt but I had never worn it before, so I thought this was the perfect moment to debut it and add a bit of character to my outfit at the same time.
