Seriously. Sometimes all you need in life is a little inspirational push to get you up on your feet and back into action. Except in my case, it’s taking a seat and logging onto my laptop. This outfit post is from a few months back but it must have been fate that I waited until now to post it.
Tonight, as I was preparing to crawl into my bed and catch up on Snapchat before rolling over and calling it a night, I casually check my Instagram. Naturally, I find new likes on my photos but not just from anyone, they were from one of my favourite bloggers! None other than Ria Michelle! *Cue nerd like excitement* Now, I know I’ve never featured Ria on the blog before and she doesn’t have a million followers like Aimee Song (I met her last week when she was in Bermuda! :D!) but she is one of my top favourite bloggers like Aimee. She’s fun, down to earth, has amazing style and just real [confession:I stalk her on snap lol].
No but seriously, this was a HUGE compliment for me and gave me just the inspiration I needed to kick my lazy self in the butt, and get back on my computer to make this post. Much like how these outfit photos were created. Another day back in May after a long day of work, I was tired and just wanted to hurry up and get my outfit photos over with so I could go home. I ask Lamont to help me and took a few photos in front of this wall. Cool, boom, done. Nope, Lamont had a suggestion to take my photos next to this pole instead, mentioning that it would give them more character. I disagreed but obliged anyway because Monty can convince me to do almost anything. Wouldn’t you know, he was right. Not only did I get into the photos more but I also loved these ones better.

Moral of these stories, sometimes in life you just need a small inspirational push to help keeping you going on those days where you just don’t feel like it. Whether it is a simple Instagram like or a suggestion from a friend, you never know where you will find inspiration, but always be open to it.
