But here’s my number, so call me maybe?
This was my outfit for Easter Sunday, it turned out to be such a beautiful day. I spent the morning laying out in the sun in my back yard, the afternoon playing with my baby cousins and the evening cheering on Bermuda in the 2012 Carifta games (they are kinda like the island’s track and field Olympics for youth). Bermuda was hosting the games this year so half of the island was at the stadium watching them live, well except me, the evenings were a bit too cold. To tell you the truth I never thought I would watch them but I actually really enjoyed them. Even though we only took home a few medals, I’m proud of us!
As for my outfit I just wanted to wear something cute and simple for Easter. Originally I was going to wear a maxi skirt but it was too warm and also the skirt was a fall colour. Easter is all about colours and pastels, there was no way I was going to wear a dark dreary colour. So instead I opted for a simple tank and these tweed shorts I got from H&M back on my December NYC trip. It was my first time wearing them and I have a feeling they may be in rotation a lot this summer. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to go shopping for my summer wardrobe so somehow I have to figure out how to reuse and recycle my current wardrobe. Or I may just raid my friends closets, whichever is more convenient at the time. And for the song title, I blame Patricia Prieto, ever since I saw the video on her blog the song has been stuck in my head! You can watch the videos for them here & here, I love them both. The official video has such a funny/cute and unexpected ending and the other is a really cool montage. It makes me want to grab my friends and make a video like I used to do when I first started college lol.
Okay I’ve rambled enough – good bye work week & hello weekend!
loving these shorts!
